Super Car Audio Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

At Super Car Audio, we sell car audio equipment, truck bass packages, subwoofer boxes, amplifiers, speakers, wiring, and installation-related products. Many of our items are large, heavy, fragile, and expensive to ship. This policy is designed to be fair to customers while also protecting our business from damage, misuse, and unsafe return shipping.

By placing an order with Super Car Audio, you agree to the policy below.

1. Return Window

Eligible items may be requested for return within 7 calendar days of delivery, pickup, or in-store purchase.

Returns must be approved by Super Car Audio before anything is shipped back. Items sent back without return approval may be refused or returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • Any item larger than 40 inches in any dimension, including but not limited to subwoofer boxes, truck enclosures, custom-fit boxes, and large bass packages.
  • Subwoofer boxes or enclosures of any kind once shipped, picked up, or installed.
  • Installed, mounted, wired, powered-on, modified, damaged, scratched, or used products.
  • Custom orders, special orders, made-to-order items, and vehicle-specific packages.
  • Installation labor, diagnostic labor, tuning labor, wiring labor, fabrication labor, and service charges.
  • Clearance, heavily discounted, final-sale, or special-promotion items.
  • Items missing original packaging, accessories, manuals, bass knobs, remotes, wiring, hardware, serial numbers, or manufacturer labels.

Large boxes and enclosures are not returnable because they are highly sensitive to shipping damage, costly to transport, and require special packaging. Please confirm fitment, measurements, vehicle model, cab type, and product details before purchasing.

3. Return Eligibility for Smaller Items

For items that are eligible for return, the product must be:

  • New, unused, uninstalled, and unmodified.
  • In perfect working condition.
  • In the original manufacturer packaging.
  • Complete with all accessories, manuals, hardware, wiring, bass knobs, remotes, tags, serial numbers, and inserts.
  • Free from scratches, marks, screw holes, cut wires, burnt smell, water exposure, physical damage, or signs of installation.

All returns are subject to inspection. A return request does not guarantee refund approval.

4. Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, where permitted by law.

The restocking fee helps cover payment processing fees, inspection time, handling, repackaging, inventory loss, and the fact that car audio products can no longer always be sold as brand new once returned.

Additional deductions may apply for missing accessories, damaged packaging, missing parts, or any condition that lowers the resale value of the item.

5. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order included “free shipping,” the actual outbound shipping cost paid by Super Car Audio may be deducted from your refund.

Returned items must be packed safely using the original packaging plus enough protection to prevent shipping damage. If a returned item is damaged in transit due to poor packaging, the refund may be reduced or denied.

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. Super Car Audio is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

6. Inspection and Refund Approval

Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it before approving or denying the refund.

We may deny or reduce a refund if the item shows signs of:

  • Installation or use.
  • Physical damage.
  • Missing parts or accessories.
  • Damaged or missing packaging.
  • Removed or altered serial numbers.
  • Burnt smell, blown speakers, fried amplifier, punctured cone, damaged terminals, cut wires, liquid damage, or misuse.
  • Return shipping damage caused by improper packaging.

If the return is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method after inspection. Processing time may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, financing provider, or payment processor.

7. Damaged, Missing, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order immediately when it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, missing parts, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number.
  • Clear photos of the product.
  • Photos of the packaging.
  • Photos of the shipping label.
  • Description of the issue.

Do not throw away the packaging. Shipping carriers usually require the original packaging for claims.

Damage claims reported late, without photos, or after the item has been installed may be denied.

For approved shipping damage or wrong-item claims, Super Car Audio may choose, at its discretion, to provide replacement parts, replacement product, repair support, store credit, or another reasonable solution.

8. Warranty Policy

Nemesis Audio products purchased from Super Car Audio include a 90-day limited warranty, subject to inspection and approval.

Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturer defects. Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage.
  • Water or liquid damage.
  • Burnt voice coils.
  • Clipped signal damage.
  • Overpowering.
  • Wrong impedance wiring.
  • Improper gain settings.
  • Improper installation.
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or modification.
  • Cut wires, broken terminals, damaged cones, damaged surrounds, damaged baskets, or damaged amplifier boards.
  • Products installed outside manufacturer specifications.
  • Products with removed, altered, or missing serial numbers.

Warranty approval requires inspection and examination of the product. We may request photos, videos, wiring details, amplifier settings, impedance readings, installation photos, or other information needed to evaluate the claim.

The customer is responsible for shipping the product to Super Car Audio for warranty inspection. If the warranty claim is approved, Super Car Audio may repair, replace, or assist with manufacturer warranty processing at its discretion.

If no defect is found, or if the issue is caused by misuse, installation error, overpowering, clipping, water damage, physical damage, or other non-warranty causes, the warranty claim will be denied and the customer will be responsible for any return shipping costs.

9. Installation and Local Pickup Orders

Products installed by Super Car Audio are not returnable once installation has started or been completed.

Installation labor, custom work, wiring, tuning, fabrication, and diagnostic charges are non-refundable.

If an issue occurs after installation, we will inspect the system and help determine whether the issue is related to product defect, installation, vehicle condition, misuse, settings, or customer-supplied equipment.

10. Financing Orders

Refunds for financed orders are subject to the rules of the financing provider. If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original financing/payment method when possible.

Fees, interest, payment schedules, or financing-related charges are controlled by the financing provider and not by Super Car Audio.

11. Canceled Orders

Orders may only be canceled before processing, packing, shipping, or special ordering begins.

Once an order has shipped, been prepared for pickup, entered installation scheduling, or been special ordered, it may no longer be cancelable.

12. Final Decision

Super Car Audio reserves the right to approve, deny, or partially approve any return, refund, exchange, warranty claim, or damage claim based on product condition, inspection results, policy eligibility, and applicable law.

Our goal is to treat customers fairly, but we cannot accept returns on products that are used, installed, damaged, incomplete, improperly packaged, oversized, custom, or unsafe to resell.
