Many modern T-style radios include wired or wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These features can make it easier to use maps, calls, messages, music, and voice commands from the larger screen. The exact connection method and available apps depend on the radio model and phone.

Factory Cameras, Steering-Wheel Controls, and Amplified Audio
Feature retention is one of the most important parts of a T-style radio installation. Factory backup cameras, steering-wheel controls, USB ports, climate displays, parking sensors, and factory amplified systems can require vehicle-specific connections and programming.
Bose, JBL, B&O, Alpine, and other factory premium systems may need additional integration. Some factory cameras can be retained directly, while others need an adapter. Front, trailer, or additional cameras may be possible when the radio provides compatible inputs.
